  18. The file can be dragged and dropped over the Scorpion BarCode software icon to create a BarCode graphic equivalent to that text. This feature is useful if a BarCode device saves its data in text files or communications hardware is set to save the received data into a text file.

The Scorpion BarCode software recognises industry standard AIM Symbology Identifiers that precede the text to identify the symbology. The default symbology is EAN-13 and will be used when an AIM Symbology Identifier is not found. For further information, please see the User Guide or view the online Help under the Encode Menu.
